Islam in Asia:   Traditions and Transformation

An NEH Summer Institute ~ June 12 to July 7, 2017 ~ Honolulu, Hawaii ~ Hosted by the Asian Studies Development Program

This part of the Islam in Asia website will develop in earnest in the months leading up to and during the program. As you can see from the pull-down menu, this will be your point of access for the daily readings assigned by the Institute presenting faculty; maps; syllabi and bibliographies submitted by presenters to help guide participant curriculum development efforts; presenter lecture notes and PowerPoint presentations; and the curriculum/research projects developed by Institute participants over the 4 weeks of the program.

Included below is a bibliography that provides a starting point for exploring scholarship on Buddhist Asia.
